Most guys do not believe that animals have the same mental faculties as we humans. The truth is that they have instincts. They can feel things that we cannot. A personal experience of mine proves it.

Last month there was a lot of rainfall in town. On a rainy day I went out to visit my brother. I was waiting for a bus at a bus shelter. The bus shelter had a roof supported by metal bars. A man came over followed by his pet dog. It was a little cute animal.

Strangely enough, the puppy came all the way to me and seized my trouser leg with its teeth. It tried to pull me away from the shelter. It did the same to its owner. A little annoyed, I decided to talk to the owner about it after we were forced to move away from the shelter into the rain.

The man apologised to me repeatedly. He said that his pet was in a merry mood, which might explain about its behaviour. I accepted his apology. As we were talking, a thunder came over, following a bolt of lightning right from overhead. It was so deafening that the dog started to whine. The next moment the bus shelter collapsed. The roof smashed into pieces and scattered onto the sidewalk.
