Shengliver’s Note: Over the years rarely have I found a student aspiring to a career in education. This teen writer is one of the few with the aspiration.

 

Many guys around me say that it is not a good idea to be a teacher. They give various reasons. The pay is not good enough, for one thing. For another, Chinese teachers work long hours and they are under great pressure. Despite everything, I still decide to hold on to my dream of being a teacher.

 

In my opinion, being a teacher is really great.

 

If I am a teacher, I will meet a lot of people with different characters. It is interesting, isn’t it? And I will be able to spend most of my time staying with my students. I don’t think it will be a pain but a great joy. Teenagers are full of energy and most of them are humorous. I think I will have a good mood every day and a young heart forever.

 

If I become a teacher, I will be knowledgeable. The questions that I cannot answer now will be easily cracked. That will be a great joy.

 

To be a teacher I need to study hard right now to enrich my knowledge and to exercise my mind.

 

Being a teacher is my dream, so I will try my best to achieve it whatever others’ opinions.
