I LOST MY PURSE

 

One day last month, I lost my purse at the school canteen.

 

The last class that morning was PE, so we went to the canteen 5 minutes earlier than usual. My best friend and I decided to eat a hotpot. When she was queuing, she asked me to go and find seats. I chose two seats at a comfortable corner and waited for my friend there. After a while my friend shouted, “Come over and help me carry the pot!” I left my purse on the seat, put my books on it and ran to help my friend. When we were back to the seats with the meal, I found my purse missing. I looked everywhere at the canteen but I could not find it. I did not believe anyone in such a great school was so low as to do a thing like that. But it happened.

 

I am angry because the cash in the purse was what I had saved for almost half a year. Besides there was a very important photo in it. The lost property taught me a lesson: we should not leave our valuable belongings out of our sight.
